Can We Just Talk?

We are a group of students from Fort Hays State University working towards getting our certificate in Leadership. In our final class before we could achieve our certification, we as a group was partnered with a community partner, Breathe Coffee House. While partnered with Breathe, we were able to take on the challenge of leading the event 'Can We Just Talk?'. This event is held every Thursday night at 7:00 pm at Breathe Coffee House in Hays, KS, and works towards creating a safe place to partake in open dialogue with members of the community and students at Fort Hays State University. We were so excited to jump into this opportunity and practice the leadership and followership skills we had learned in the previous courses. We are extremely grateful for all the real-world experience we gained in leadership and now we are ready to continue using these skills to further our lives outside of this class.
